Patricia Beth O'Kelley wurde am 26. September 1968 in Melrose, Massachusetts, geboren und wuchs in La Grange, Illinois auf. Sie schloss ihr Studium an der University of Wisconsin, Madison ab. Sie lebte mit ihrem Mann Adam und ihren beiden Kindern in Los Angeles. Neben der Schauspielerei entwirft O'Kelley eine Reihe von Grußkarten namens Heartsongs.
