Biografía[]
Audra nació en Alemania. Se graduó en la Juilliard School for the Performing Arts en 1993. Su primer marido, Peter Donovan, también se graduó en Juilliard, donde se conocieron. Audra ha ganado seis premios Tony en 11 años, lo que la convierte en la ganadora de más premios Tony que cualquier otra persona. En 2009, ganó premios Grammy en la categoría de Mejor Álbum Clásico y en la categoría de Mejor Grabación de Ópera por su trabajo en Weill: Rise And Fall Of The City Of Mahagonny.
