Alacia was working at the daycare when Scout Derek Shepherd Lincoln had an accident. His extra outfit had already been used, so she tried to call his parents, but they were both in surgery. Then she called Lucas Adams as Lucas had dropped Scout off at daycare that morning. She suggested he might find some pants in the hospital gift shop, which he did.
