Anand Kotwani is the husband of Shruti Kotwani.
History[]
Anand's wife, Shruti, was 42 weeks pregnant with her third child. She had tried many methods of inducing labor without medical intervention, but none had succeeded. Jo warned her that she was at risk of complications if labor didn't start soon. Shruti wanted to avoid that and Jo said they needed to run labs, so she had that time to try to get it started. Shruti and Anand decided to have sex in her hospital room. They were interrupted by Teddy and Jo coming into the room, causing Anand to fall to the floor. While Anand was taken down to the ER to be treated, Jo started pitocin, which started Shruti's labor. Anand was on his way to CT when Shruti called and asked if he'd remembered to install the car seat. He lied and told her he had, then asked the doctors to take him to his car. Instead, they installed the seat for him. After his scan, Anand was wheeled into the room to meet their son.
