Baby Sloan is the biological child of Sloan Riley and grandson of Mark Sloan. He was adopted by Trish and Keith shortly after his birth.

Birth[]
Sloan gave birth in Mark's apartment late at night after coming to him in active labor. The baby wasn't making sounds initially, but started to cry after Arizona Robbins stimulated him. At the hospital, he was stable and able to go to the newborn nursery. Sloan briefly considered keeping him, but ultimately called Trish and Keith, his parents, to come get him. His mom held him and his dad observed that he had her father's chin.
