Betty Donahue is a woman who came into the ER after a minor car accident.
History[]
Betty broke her arm in a car accident. While she was in the ER getting her arm checked out, she saw Henry Stamm, a man she'd loved when she was young, who was also in the ER. They spent some time catching up and he asked her to move across the country to live with him. She said she got over him and they'd missed their time. She was then taken into surgery to repair her arm.
After her surgery, Henry had an irregular heart rhythm. They had to insert a pacemaker. She then agreed to move in with him.

While at a party with Henry, they saw each other outside and had sex, both of their firsts. However, Henry was engaged to Irene and later married her. Fifty years later, they met up at the hospital and she agreed to move across the country to be with him.

She has four children and some grandchildren.
Friendships[]
Betty and Irene were best friends and roommates. Irene was seeing Henry, not knowing the Betty was in love with him. Betty was supposed to be the maid of honor in their wedding, but she disappeared.
