David Friedman is the father of Grayson Friedman.
History[]
David came to the hospital with his son, Grayson, who had collapsed in the bathroom. Grayson had a history of ulcerative colitis and tests confirmed acute severe colitis, which required an ostomy for a few months. ("Shadow of Your Love")
The next morning, Daisy and David left the hospital to pick up Grayson's cousins, who had come to Seattle for his bar mitzvah along with his great-grandfather, who had arrived earlier. They were going to a Mariners game because his bar mitzvah was cancelled. They planned to reschedule, but Zayde wouldn't be able to come because it was too much for him to travel from Brooklyn. Upon hearing this, Levi decided to throw Grayson a bar mitzvah in the hospital so all his family could attend. Zayde did the ceremony with Grayson, becoming a bar mitzvah himself as he'd been unable to do so when he was 13. ("Mama Who Bore Me")
