Dottie is a woman who came into the station with her friends trying to complete a scavenger hunt.
History[]
Dottie and her friends, Gertrude and Judith came into the station 19 for help because Judith's hands were stuck in a pair of handcuffs with the key broken off in the lock. They initially refused to say how it had happened, but after Dottie took a picture of Travis removing the handcuffs, they admitted it was for a scavenger hunt they were doing to try to win a cruise. When Judith mentioned missing Shirley, Travis asked who that was and was brushed off. Travis was able to free Judith. Dottie asked which of the firefighters wanted to pose shirtless with one of them. The firefighters looked over the list while Dottie explained that it's something they did every year with their bridge group and ever year had a different theme. They needed a picture of a celebrity and wanted to do it with Sullivan, as the Fire Zaddy. When he said that made him feel objectified, they tried to goad him into it with sob stories. In the meantime, they offered to help with other items on the list. They took several other pictures and finally admitted that Shirley was their fourth bridge partner, but they had a falling out. Judith was sure she'd come back around as they'd been through hell together as friends, but they always showed up for each other. While they were taking turns working the pole, Dottie suddenly felt faint. Sullivan took her inside to check her blood sugar and get her something to eat. While they were inside, Dottie explained that Judith and Gertrude were going all out on the scavenger hunt for her, as she was recently widowed after sixty years. Once she was stabilized, they got back to their photoshoot. Both Sullivan and Travis posed shirtless with them. Shirley came in while they were taking these pictures and explained that Judith had called, so she brought Dottie's medicine to the station for her. Shirley said she was still mad, but Dottie was just happy she'd shown up.

Her husband of sixty years had recently died. For thirty years of their marriage, he was active military and she spent much of her life waiting for him to come home.
Friendships[]
She, Gertrude, Judith, and Shirley are long-time friends. Judith says Dottie is the glue of the group. Recently, Shirley and the others had a falling out, but Judith was sure Shirley would come around. When Shirley came to the station, she told Dottie she was still mad, but Dottie said at least she was there.
