Ella Holmes is a kid who was hit by a car while riding a scooter.

Ella was riding her scooter down a hill when she was hit by a car. She was rushed to the ER, where she had a broken femur and abdominal bleeding. She was taken into surgery, where Arizona worked to repair the damage to her abdomen. However, there was too much swelling, so she had to do a temporary closure and wait for the swelling to go down before finishing her abdomen and fixing her leg.
Once the swelling went down, they took her back into the OR, where the finished her abdominal surgery and put an external fixator on her leg. Her parents arrived at the hospital after her surgery was over.

Ella was close with her babysitter Katie. After the accident, Katie worried that she'd be fired and never allowed to see Ella again.
