Erica was asleep in her house when a fire started. Her mother woke up and immediately went to Erica and her brother, Steven, sitting with them on a bed until they were found and rescued by firefighters. They were taken outside, where they were given oxygen while firefighters continued to search for their family members and put out the fire.
