Gary came into the hospital with his brother, Chuck, when Chuck got an infection from a surgery Gary didn't think he should have had to lengthen his legs. When Chuck had to have surgery that ultimately made him shorter than he had been when he started, Gary said the only person who noticed or cared how short he was was himself.
