Gilbert Quincy is a patient who had a lot of anxiety about his cardiac ablation.
History[]
Gilbert had been diagnosed with SVT with AVRT. He was scheduled for a cardiac ablation to treat his condition, but his anxiety was not well-managed by his oral medication, so he hired Angela, a professional cuddler, to cuddle him, which lowered his heart rate and relaxed him. When they came to do his pre-op tests, his heart rate spiked, so Angela asked if they would wait for him to calm down more. Winston opposed this delay, as he had a very busy day, but as they moved him to surgery, he started to panic and, worried that it would increase Gilbert's risk of complications, Winston climbed onto the gurney and held him to calm him down. He then went into surgery, which was successful.
