Harrison came to the hospital for his first day of his work. He was assigned to Jules Millin. When going to treat their first patient, he read the room number incorrectly, leading to them being delayed. Then when asked to present, he didn't understand what he was supposed to do, forcing Jules to take over. ("We Built This City")
While working with Lucas Adams, they were tasked to find a clinical trial for Katie Rogers. ("Goodbye Horses")
Harrison fumbled while working on Regina Evans, struggling to present her case. Later, he supervised her while she got a scan until Simone kicked him out. ("Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child")
After a crash involving two cars, a bus, and a cyclist, Harrison ended up helping treat Glen Kelly, who came into the hospital in full arrest after ten minutes of CPR. After continued attempts to resuscitate, Bailey told him to call it, but Richard came in and ordered them to continue. They opened his chest in the ER and were able to resuscitate with cardiac massage and intracardiac epinephrine. They then took him into surgery. ("When I Crash")
Harrison ordered x-rays for Ms. Johnson, but accidentally ordered them for her left arm instead of her right, so he had to fix it. ("Heavy on Me")
