Jeffrey Schmidt came to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital to deliver a human heart intended for Lincoln McNeil. He had been told to find Cristina Yang, but when he passed her and Meredith Grey outside the hospital, Meredith informed him that he should instead find Dr. Pierce.
