Jim is the fiancé of Rodney.
History[]
Jim came into the ER with Rodney, his fiancé. Jim had been cooking with a deep fryer when the propane tank exploded, burning Rodney's arm and severely injuring Rodney's father, Mike. While Mike was taken into surgery, Rodney's arm was treated in the ER. Rodney's sister, Pam, was upset with Jim for injuring their father.
After Mike's surgery, they were told he'd be in ICU for a while before having surgery again and they should go home because he couldn't have visitors. Pam and Rodney decided to wait and Jim offered to go get them food. Rodney instead told Jim to leave and not come back.
Later, after Mike's surgery, they were told he'd be okay and Rodney called Jim, saying that Jim loved Mike.
