Joel Miller is the Chief of Surgery at Bauer Army Medical Center.
History[]
Joel called in a team from Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital when Brian Carson was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. He had to call them again and have them come urgently when Brian fell and broke his pelvis, which made his case emergent. Despite Will Thorpe's anger at the other doctors being called, they worked side-by-side on Brian.

He is Chief of Surgery and an attending surgeon at Bauer Army Medical Center. He is also a Colonel in the U.S. Army.
