History[]
Joni was at her boyfriend, Vaughn's, air guitar competition when he climbed a scaffolding his friend, Gish, had built. The scaffolding collapsed and Vaughn fell on Joni, injuring both of them. Joni was taken to the hospital, where an x-ray showed a pelvic fracture. They applied external fixation and told her she'd need some physical therapy. She was able to FaceTime with Vaughn, who had had surgery, and she played air guitar for him.
