Joseph Scott is a patient who fell while hiking with his daughter.
History[]
Joseph was hiking with his daughter, Rosie, when she fell into a cave and hurt her ankle. Teddy Altman and Owen Hunt, who were hiking nearby, jumped in to help. Teddy went to call the park rangers to rescue her while Owen tried to keep her family and assess her condition. While trying to reassure her, Joseph fell into the cave himself and cut his leg badly. Rosie started to panic, but Owen was able to talk her through packing the wound with her shirt and using the band from her fanny pack and a stick to make a tourniquet. Once she had stopped the bleeding, they waited for rescue.
Joseph and Rosie were pulled out of the cave and taken to the hospital, where Rosie was told she had only a bad sprain and would need to keep weight off it. Joseph was taken into surgery, which was successful.
