Biography
Hopkins was born in Lexington, Kentucky on September 12, 1970 to former Congressman Larry Hopkins and Carolyn Hopkins. He made his high school studies on Sayre School, where he plated varsity basketball and attended Auburn University in Alabama. He also has two sisters, Tara and Shae Hopkins.
Career
Josh Hopkins made his Broadway debut in 1994 on the play Picnic. He later landed some roles in television shows such as G.I. Jane and The Perfect Storm and films such as Pirates of Silicon Valley, but his breakthrough on the career was his role on Ally McBeal as Raymond Milbury during the 2000-2001 season. Josh also had a recurring role on Brothers and Sisters. Williams is also famous for portraying Assistant District Attorney Jason Kite on Cold Case's first season, who had a notable on-screen romance with character Lilly Rush.
Apart from being an actor, Hopkins is also an amateur musician. On October 2006, his first music video, "Feigning Interest", was released. A few months later, on June 2007, is became a featured video on the social networking website MySpace. Regardless of the controversy about the video's theme, its popularity led Hopkins to a successful performance on the Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago on August 2007.
