Juan Carlos was asleep in bed with his wife, Inés, when their house caught on fire. He woke up when firefighters came into their room in search of survivors. He was able to walk out of the house while Inés had to be carried. Outside, he was given oxygen and was reunited with his family members while Inés was taken to the hospital.
