History[]
Kaitlan came into the ER after being sexually assaulted. She had some blunt trauma and a possible kidney injury. Charlotte went in to examine her and she said that she couldn't talk to the police. She also refused a rape kit, saying Charlotte didn't know what it was like.
Charlotte later went to Kaitlan and said getting through what she did would be a special kind of hell, but she could get through it. There was a way to get forward through the pain, shame, and guilt. She wouldn't forget, but she'd get through it. Kaitlan reached out and took her hand.
