Ken Monroe is the father of Beth Monroe.
History[]
Ken came into the hospital with his daughter so she could participate in a clinical trial for her brain tumor. He was upset when he found out that her daughter's boyfriend was also in the trial. When the boyfriend, Jeremy West, died, Beth's parents wanted to take her home, but she insisted on having the surgery. ("Freedom, Part 1")
Beth's surgery was successful and she was the first trial patient to survive. ("Freedom, Part 2")
