Kenneth was on a subway train when the train stalled, injuring some of the passengers. When Maya and Jack arrived to help, Kenneth offered his assistance, citing his experience as a security guard. They said they'd keep him in mind. When they discovered two passengers who likely had avian flu after coming to Seattle from Bashran, Jack and Maya announced that to the passengers after calling the CDC. Because of this, none of the passengers were allowed to leave the train. In the midst of some chaos involved in treating the two passengers, an impatient passenger, Reese, tried to leave despite the warnings. To stop him, Kenneth used his taser, which caused a cardiac event in Reese. Kenneth watched as they treated him using medication from another passenger. Once he was stabilized, the CDC arrived and all the passengers were evacuated and decontaminated.
