Kim Raver played Teddy Altman from season six to season eight of Grey's Anatomy. She reprised her role in season fourteen as a recurring guest star and joined the main cast again as of season fifteen. She also appeared in seasons three, five, and six of Station 19. She also directed an episode of the nineteenth season of Grey's Anatomy.
Biography[]
Raver was raised in New York City by her mother, Tina Raver, and her stepfather, Chris Meltesen. She has a sister, Cybele Raver, as well as three half sisters, Nadja Raver, Grace Raver, Aimée Raver, and two half brothers, Jacob Raver, and William Raver.[source?] A fine arts graduate of Boston University,[1] Raver continues to study theater in New York with teacher and mentor Wynn Handman. She is fluent in French and German, a language that she learned as a child from her German-born mother.[source?]
Raver is married to Manuel Boyer. The couple has two sons.[2]
