Kwame Reynolds is Sam Sutton's best friend.
History[]
Kwame was wingsuiting with his best friend, Sam, in Sun Valley, Idaho, when Sam was injured by running into a granite wall. Kwame went with him to Grey Sloan Memorial, where the doctors diagnosed 93 total fractures. Link wanted to do a series of shorter surgeries to save Sam the prolonged time under anesthesia, but this carried a greater risk of infection and eventual amputation, so Sam opposed it. Instead, Link created a surgical plan that would allow them to do all the repairs in a single surgery. Kwame warned them that Sam needed use of his limbs to feel alive. The surgery was successful and Sam was taken to recovery afterward. ("Come Fly With Me")
Kwame came back to the hospital four days after Sam's surgery to show off pictures of his newborn son, whom they'd named Sam after him. He then said he'd be back the next day. ("Happily Ever After?")
