Leanne agreed to be a surrogate for a couple so they could have a baby. She grew to love and trust them as they did her. When she was brought into the ER after the explosion, she was concerned about the baby's health as she was only at 31 weeks.
Mall Explosion[]
Leanne was injured in the mall explosion. She was taken into surgery to amputate her arm and treat her other injuries. While she was in surgery, her water broke and the baby went into distress and had to be delivered via c-section.
Meeting the Baby[]
After she woke up, the baby's parents asked if she was feeling up to seeing them and the baby, which she was. They brought her in and she asked if the baby was healthy and if they loved her.
