Six days before her wedding, Lucy and eleven of her friends had a bachelorette party for her. This party involved bar hopping. After bar hopping all night, they were left with just Lucy and two friends, as everyone else had left. They went back to Emerald City Bar, where they recruited Maya Bishop and Carina DeLuca to dance with them. Finally, Taryn Helm, the bartender, cut them off, which upset Lucy. Maya and Carina then said they were going to leave, but Lucy wanted to show them the dance she and her bridesmaids were doing at the wedding. She climbed onto a chair and promptly fell off, injuring her nose. Maya and Carina stayed and tended to her. Lucy was worried because she didn't want to have a broken, bruised nose at the wedding. Maya told her that the first time she saw her wife at their wedding, there was a moment where everything else faded away and it was just the two of them. She said that marriage was about finding the person she wanted to go through life with. Carina asked Lucy who she wanted to call more than anyone in the world. Lucy admitted it would be her fiancé. Maya and Carina sent her and her bridesmaids off to the hospital to find Owen Hunt.
