Luisa Berrol is Andy's lawyer.
History[]
Luisa represented Andy at her bail hearing shortly after she was arrested. Judge H. Pendleton accepted Andy's not guilty plea, told her her trial was set for May 17, and set bail at $100,000. ("Death and the Maiden")
While Andy awaited her trial, Luisa called her and told her the firefighters' union would allow her friends to testify on her behalf, which was good news for her. She told Andy it showed that the union supported her instead of staying on the sidelines like the department had. ("The Road You Didn't Take")
After talking to Jack about his childhood, Andy realized that Jeremy must have attacked other woman before her, so she began searching for any women who could come out and testify to support Andy's version of events. When she found a comment on one of the articles about her from a woman whom Jeremy had raped in college, she and Luisa went to the prosecuting attorney, James Pope, but he said he needed more proof than that. Undeterred, Andy tracked down the woman, Holly, and she and Luisa went to the coffee shop where Holly was working to ask her to talk about her experience. Holly initially refused, but after talking to Andy, she came to the prosecutor's office. After she shared her experience, Pope dropped the charges against Andy. ("Crawl Out Through the Fallout")
