Maddy is a teen who was rescued from an electric car.
History[]
Maddy and Matt made plans to go on a date. Embarrassed by his old car, Matt decided to steal his father's car. However, on the date, Matt and Maddy ended up trapped inside the car when the battery caught on fire, rendering them unable to unlock the doors and get out. Someone called for help and firefighters ended up breaking the windows to free them, over Matt's objections. He further objected when they started spraying the car with water. Both teens were treated on-site for smoke inhalation. When Maddy heard that Matt had been embarrassed by his car and was worried about his dad's reaction to the car being destroyed, Maddy assured Matt that she didn't care about his car and that his dad's toxic masculinity was unattractive. Matt pulled out his phone and called his dad. When his father arrived, he had the car loaded onto a tow truck over Andy's objection that it wasn't safe, then came and yelled at Matt for taking the car. This was interrupted by the car reigniting. Because of the nature of the fire, they were forced to let it burn out.
