History[]

Boycotts and Sit-ins[]

In the 1960s, she participated in many boycotts and sit-ins. ("Get Up, Stand Up")

Vic's Childhood[]

Since her parents worked all the time, Vic came home after school and stayed with her grandmother, who encouraged her to have fun and watched musicals with her. When Vic was a teen, she told her grandmother that she was going to have the lead in West Side Story. She then noticed that her grandmother quickly forgot which musical she was doing and started singing a song from Pirates of Penzance instead. She also noticed that there was no food in a pot with boiling water, despite her saying dinner was nearly ready.

Later, on the night she was set to debut in Pirates of Penzance, Vic first had to check on her grandmother, making sure she took her meds and that the stove was off before going to her show. As she sang, her grandmother came into the theatre and started singing along. Then she climbed onto the stage and they sang the song together.

At some point after that, Marion died.

Familial[]
