When Lauren came to Grey Sloan Memorial to examine and treat Suzanne Britland, she used a service which allowed Mary to interpret her sign language into spoken English, allowing her to speak to Suzanne, her family, and the other doctors. ("Save the Last Dance for Me")
She continued to provide this service as Lauren continued to work on Suzanne, right up until Suzanne was diagnosed and treated. ("A Diagnosis")
