History[]
Matt was doing his regular errands with his wife, Laura, like they did every week when she surprised him by asking for a divorce while they were at the car wash. This surprise led to them getting stuck in the car wash, with Laura sustaining a head injury. Firefighters arrived and assessed the situation. Laura was angry with Matt because she was sure he was cheating on her, though he insisted he wasn't. After some time, they were able to get Laura out of the car after the car wash had been turned off. Matt tried to climb out himself, but the car wash turned back on, trapping him under a contraption. Once the backup generator was turned off, they were able to free Matt and get him out of the car wash. He asked them to get him a sling so he could go see Laura and admit to her that he wasn't going to work in the mornings because he'd lost his job and was too embarrassed to tell her.
