History[]
Melissa came into the practice when her husband was there being treated for priapism. She revealed to Violet that she was pregnant and that it wasn't Brendon's. They'd made a virginity pact, but her sister pressured her to get it done so that it would be good with Brendon. The result was a pregnancy. She thought that if the wedding day were close enough, she wouldn't have to say anything, but Violet said she didn't want a marriage built on lies.
She confessed the pregnancy during Brendon's shunt placement. He was angry and refused to speak to her, but after Charlotte talked to him, he decided he loved her and didn't want to leave her.
