Hehe, it's not often that I encounter another Belgian on the wiki's I visit (though funny thing, when I do, they always seem to have administrator right or more -or used to have them) :-) Flanders or Wallonia?
Here I do have admin rights, but that's because this place was completely abandoned and I put in a adoption request. I like to believe that it's been uphill ever since (not only my doing, we have only a few very active editors on here, but they're extremely good in my opinion).
Well, as with every community, you cannot stand alone and everyone brings his or her expertise to the bunch :-) Always sweet to have such members be a part of the editing team.
I'm using AWB, short for AutoWikiBrowser, to make those edits. It's a semi-automated editing program that lets you do repetitive edits in an easy way. It's sort of like a bot, but you can't do fully automated edits, you still need to approve each one you make. There is this function on that program that taps into a compiled list of spelling mistakes and checks all the pages you have indicated on those mistakes. From time to time, I visit the wikis of shows that I like to run that program to weed out those small spelling errors. It's a free downloadable program, so you can get it yourself as well if you want.
Oh no, it's fine if you come around to do it every now and then, I was just curious how you managed to find all the mistakes in such short notice. :) Too bad you're only here every now and then to correct spelling mistakes, it would sure be nice to have some more active editors on here.
AWB can do a lot more than just fix typos. For example, let's say you rename page A to page B and you want to switch all the links for A to B since you just hate redirects, then you can use AWB to do that for you. Even though you still will have to click "save" every time you make a change, you will not have to open every page individually to make the edit. And just as with regular editing, you can do multiple changes at once. It's a really useful program, especially on a wiki that has only a few active editors since it truly makes some editing stuff faster :-)
And perhaps I will someday become a really active editor here, but at the moment, I just don't have the time :-/ Exams are coming up and I still have a lot of cleanup to do on my home wiki. Though that doesn't mean I can't help out now and again here :-) Also, if you ever need help with some repetitive edits, you may always shoot me a message, and I'll be glad to help out with AWB -or even with my bot account (though that would require some assistance from Wikia to give the bot its flag to hide the repetitive edits from the recent changes, lest it'll be flooded ^^".
I know she technically did nothing wrong, since she was a single person hitting on someone else and it was Arizona's responsibility to turn her down, but... come on! That's still just a bitchy thing to do.
She has like no morality. The thing is, she had a nice specialty that could've offered some nice cases. Shonda always creates these attending doctors with nice specialties (Lauren, Emma Marling, ...) only to give them a love affair. I want a new doctor with a nice specialty that's not introduced to instantly start a romance.
I still think she did something wrong. She actively pursued a woman she knew to be both married and a mother. It was Arizona's responsibility to turn her down, but the way that I see it for Lauren is that she pursued someone whom she knew was unavailable and someone who was vulnerable (and now we know she was even more vulnerable than we originally thought). I'm not saying it's not also Arizona's fault, but it wasn't like with Meredith, where she thought Derek was single. Lauren KNEW Arizona was married. She'd even MET Callie. She knew about Sofia, too.
I did like her specialty and I am a fan of Hilarie Burton, but I want the cast to be smaller, not bigger. If all the characters I don't like/don't care about left, there would be room for characters like that to be added, but there are SO MANY CHARACTERS already.
Not if she was going to be a predator like that. If she had just had the charming aspect without the, "I don't give a damn about anyone but myself," she could have had potential there. And like I said, I do like Hilarie Burton, so I certainly wouldn't have been sad to see her stick around.
Same thing with Emma for me, as a Crowen shipper. Even though they're split up, I feel like she's standing between Owen and Cristina to form a friendship. Cristina sure could use some friends right now :P
See, I don't ship Cristina/Owen. I do like Emma, but I really, really, really don't like Owen. If he leaves and she stays, I would like that. And I love Cristina. I really don't think Emma is standing in the way of anything except them having sex continuously like they did before.
It's not like she's willingly standing in the way, but Owen doesn't want too much contact with Cristina because of her, I think. I want Owen to have a story outside his love life. Teddy, come back, and show him some friendship!
Eh, it's different. I dislike them for different reasons. Owen uses intimidation and physical violence to get what he wants. (And I'm not talking about choking Cristina, because that was PTSD.) He tried to take away Cristina's right to make her own choice and kicked her out of the house when she wouldn't bend to his will. Later, after she exercised her legal right to choose with him by her side, he publicly shamed her for her choice. He dismissed her commitment not to have kids as juvenile and something that she'd grow out of. There's a pattern here of misogynistic and violent behavior that I really don't like.
I initially liked him and I did like them together. The turning point for me was the season seven finale when he kicked her out of the house for saying she made the appointment to have an abortion. And then when I went back and re-watched earlier episodes, other little things cropped up and I just couldn't like him anymore.
Thing with me is, that I watched the entire series in a row, so the next episode was only minutes away. There wasn't really time to overthink their actions. I see that I'm now having more and more opinions about the characters than I used to.
Ah, yes. Except for a few times when I wasn't able to watch at the show's pace, I've always watched the episodes as they aired. And starting in season seven, I was participating in online discussions with other fans about the episodes.
I used to like Izzie, too, way back in the beginning. But now I look back at even the earliest episodes and I don't like her.
Yeah, that was due to Katherine Heigl leaving with no warning.
She got too attached to her patients and she treated her friends terribly. Much like Lauren, she knew George was married, but she not only disrespected his marriage any chance she got, but then she slept with him while they were still married. And she viewed herself as this "holier than thou" saint. I think both Cristina and Alex, who have both been called heartless, have better bedside manner and are kinder than she is.
Yes. That's a perfect example of him not being so good with the parents, but being great with scared and sick kids. Arizona has helped teach him a lot and he's better than he used to be, but he's still not perfect.
Oh, definitely not. They might decide not to have any because they both had kind of terrible childhoods. They can make their impact on the next generation in different ways. Alex is probably good with Sofia and Zola and now with baby Bailey. He can be the cool uncle to the other doctors' kids.
No worries. If you want to read them, feel free, but you are under no obligation. I will warn you that Monthly Woes deals with menstruation, so if that bothers you, you may want to skip that one. They're mostly short. The longest one is Just Different, which is in the 5,000-word range. Most of them are under 2000 words.

You can easily just unblock him.
I can, but I won't. Wikia listed your IP as being in the same range to be yours, so I'm going with Wikia's word above yours.
I guess that's what you get when you create a plethora of sockpuppets.
Meanboy, I have nothing, but then absolutely nothing, to prove to either one of you. I am not going to unblock either one of you, so if you want to fight this block, take this up with Wikia, and please, leave me alone.
Says you, and your word, claiming he's not a sockpuppet of yours doesn't mean a lot to me. Now please, this conversation is done. I am not going to help you in any way, so if you want to lift the block on Meanboy, take it up with Wikia instead of me.
Wiki didnot block me Thailog did.Thailog later said it was a mistake he will lift my block however he hasnot so Lostris please help me.@Tooniee it will take some few more comments dont mind ok no harm done.
Meanboy, no you won't. Toonie is right. This is not the place to talk about your problems, so take them elsewhere. Be respectful toward others and there wikis. Take it elsewhere. At least go to the Avatar Answers Wiki then, as that is at least related to Avatar.
I am really sorry about this, Tooniee, and I apologize for the unnecessary drama that has followed me down here.
