Our Infobox Policy, linked in the navigation bar above in the community tab gives a more thorough explanation, but basically, Jackson doesn’t acknowledge Robert as his father and our policy is to reflect the character’s desires. Nerdfightergirl 03:59, November 10, 2019 (UTC)
Hi! I noticed in your edit summary that you reverted my edit as it was unsourced. In the article, Derek is mentioned to have been 12 or 13 at the time of his father's death. He was born in 1966, meaning it took place at some point between 1978 (not 1977, apologies) or 1980, as those were the years Derek would have been either 12 or 13. The article mentions that Amelia was 5 which would narrow it down further, however her page has no date of birth.
Hi again! I'm still curious why an old press release is so important? I mean it's called "Short summary" so it should describe what the actual episode is about, don't you think? Otherwise it's just confusing.
Hi Nerdfightergirl, i'm sorry but I don't understand why the "patient (psych)" category doesn't apply to Amelia since in the season 5 episode the breaking point Amelia is at the Pacific Serenity Treatment Center and is followed by Dr.Dave who is a therapist. Knowing that the category says "Patients treated by psychiatrists or undergoing therapy of some kind". Owen has the category knowing that during season 15 he is seeing a therapist too.
Given that he's called by his first name, it's likely that Dr. Dave is neither a psychologist nor psychiatrist and is instead a drug counselor. We've made the decision in the past that that time at rehab is not considered psychiatric treatment for her.
