Micah and Lily met online. They wanted to meet in person, but her parents were opposed. Lily ended up meeting him secretly, but became injured when she fell off a jet ski and the stream of water ripped through her pelvis. Micah went to the hospital to check on her, but wouldn't help the doctors when they said they needed to call her parents, as he said she didn't want her parents to know. After Lily's surgery, Cormac talked to Micah from the perspective of a parent of a teenager and convinced Micah to unlock Lily's phone so they could call her parents.
