History[]
Miles was moving furniture for work when he fell and broke his wrist. His wife, Lauren, and daughter, Jayden, came to ER with him. While he was waiting for an x-ray, Lauren, who had indigestion related to her pregnant, had some contractions, so Simone took her to OB for an exam.
While Miles was getting splinted for a distal radius fracture, Lauren started bleeding due to undiagnosed HELLP syndrome and had to be rushed into surgery. During the surgery, they delivered her daughter and did a hysterectomy. He was able to hold their newborn, Imani, while he waited for an update on Lauren. Eventually, he was told that she was in recovery.
