Mrs. Oldroyd is the mother of David Oldroyd.
History[]
Her son, Dave, had stage 2 osteosarcoma. When he was involved in an accident involving a falling gurney in the parking lot, Callie Torres called her to tell her about it. She came into the hospital immediately. She scolded Dave for sneaking out of the hospital, saying that he was supposed to be resting before his chemo, not having sex with his girlfriend. She continued to disapprove of Dave and Monica's flirting.
When Monica had to be taken into emergency surgery to treat a brain bleed, Mrs. Oldroyd was concerned about her and comforted her son, who was also worried.

When his mother discovered what had happened, she was disappointed in him. However, when Monica was taken into emergency surgery, she comforted her son.
