History[]
Navy was staying at her friend, Bella's house while her parents were on a cruise. She threw up in Bella's bed one day, so Navy's parents told her to go to the clinic at the hospital. There, Catherine Fox examined her and began running tests. Finally, she was diagnosed with transverse vaginal septum, which had caused her uterus to fill with blood because her menstrual fluid was unable to exit properly. Standard of care was to place a drain and allow the blood to drain into a bag, then repair the septum. However, this would require her to wear the bag outside her body for weeks, so Lucas said there had to be a better way. After searching, he found some case studies from Australia that used an incision in the posterior wall of the vagina and suction to remove the blood instead. Lucas told Navy he'd operate on her, but when he noticed she was uncomfortable with that, he pretended to have another surgery and Bailey did Navy's surgery instead. It was successful and Navy was awake afterward.
