When Megan came into the ER, Melanie gave Alex the chart and mentioned that it was her fourth visit in three months, suspecting abuse. ("Sometimes a Fantasy")

When Rebecca Pope came back to Seattle looking for Alex, Melanie informed him he had a request for him. ("Haunt You Every Day")
ER Patients[]

Lucas and Reilly Nash[]
When Lucas and Reilly Nash were in a train crash together, Melanie informed Jackson and Lexie that because the OR was so swamped, they split a trauma room and put both kids in there. ("Slow Night, So Long")
Sexting in the OR[]
Melanie was in surgery with Callie and Cristina, who had been sexting with Owen all day. When Cristina's phone kept on making sounds, Callie told Melanie to read the message out loud. Cristina, who knew it would be a sexual message, told her not to. While Callie kept on trying to get Melanie to read the message, she eventually obeyed to Cristina and didn't read it. ("Poker Face")
Helping April[]
