Officer Garza is an officer who responded when a cult leader threatened to jump from a roof.

Officer Garza and his partner, Officer Buckner, responded to the call when Warren Sterman reported that cult leader Brother John was on the roof of a building and threatening to jump, believing he could fly. When they arrived, they tried to talk him down off the roof, but were unsuccessful. On the ground, one of the followers Gideon, was injured, but resisting medical care. Officer Buckner tried to help corral him, but ended up being grabbed. Buckner managed to push him off. Next, Garza said they were going to shut the music off, but Andy said she wanted to let Jack keep trying to get John to come down on his own. Despite this, John soon after jumped off the roof, but landed on an air bag the firefighters had placed there.
