Paige Donahue is a teen who was in a multi-car accident on the interstate.
History[]
Paige was out shopping with her friends, Fynn and Margot, when she looked away from the road briefly to replay their favorite song. This distraction led to an accident involving multiple cars. Margot had had her legs up on the dashboard, so they were broken in the crash and Fynn was killed. When firefighters arrived, Paige was in shock and unresponsive, holding the steering wheel. When she finally snapped out of it and asked what had happened. When she learned they'd been in an accident, she explained that she'd only looked away for a second. The firefighters distracted both Margot and Paige to keep them from looking into the backseat as they worked to free them, but they still realized Fynn had died. The firefighters removed the door on Margot's side, then got her out. Once she was free, Beckett climbed in to put a neck brace on Paige and prepare to remove her. Paige blamed herself for the accident, so Beckett shared his experience of causing the death of one of his friends. He told her she was only sixteen. She would live and learn from her mistake and move forward. Then they got her out and took her to the hospital.
