Pam Williams is a patient who came to the clinic to see Carina.
History[]
Pam came into the clinic to get tests run related to her pregnancy. She told Carina that she didn't feel her OB listened to her, so Carina offered to run some tests and do an ultrasound. Pam commented that she'd heard Carina was beautiful, but thought she'd prepared herself.
While she was doing the ultrasound, Carina offered to tell her the sex of her baby, but she said she didn't want to know. She worried she wouldn't be a good mother, so Carina reassured her. Pam asked if Carina had any kids and Carina said not yet, but she'd been going through the insemination process. Pan asked if she was married and Carina said she was.
While they waited for Pam's tests to come back, Pam asked if Carina was still trying to conceive. Carina said no, because she and her wife had separated and were taking time apart. Pam asked if she was still going to have a baby if they didn't get back together and Carina said that she wanted a baby more than anything, but her wife was a big part of that dream. Pam then decided she didn't want to be surprised after all and had Carina tell her the sex. They celebrated when Carina said it was a boy. Pam said she'd always pictured herself having a girl, but suddenly couldn't imagine not having a boy. Carina said she'd always imagined herself having a boy.
Once they were finished, Carina told Pam she could come back in a few weeks for her next round of tests or Carina could take her on as a regular patient. Pam said she didn't think it would be a good idea to have Carina as her OB as she found Carina attractive. Pam then asked Carina out. Carina said she appreciated the offer and Pam asked if that meant they had a date. ("Get It All Out")
Pam and Carina ended up getting drinks one time. Later, when Pam found herself trapped in a vending machine after trying to reach inside it for some baby donuts, she called Carina for help. Carina brought along Maya and Ben to free her. When Carina arrived, she determined that Pam was in labor and her water had already broken, giving them a limited amount of time before she would give birth. They tried lubricating her arm, but that didn't work, so they started taking it apart. While they did that, Carina determined that the baby was in a transverse position, meaning she had to reposition him for birth. Once this was done, she was able to push. Just as her son was born, they freed her arm, allowing her to hold him. ("Get It All Out")
