Ted is a paramedic who was injured when his rig exploded.
History[]
Ted and his partner, Jonathan had just dropped a patient off at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. When they went to leave, their rig exploded. Ted and Jonathan were both rushed inside the hospital for treatment.
Ted had partial-thickness burns, which were treated in the ER. He was upset because Jonathan was more seriously injured and he said it was his fault because he didn't secure the oxygen tanks, something Jonathan was always reminding him to do.

He is a paramedic in Seattle. Jonathan Todd is his partner.
