Ray Sanchez was an illustrator with an abdominal aortic aneurysm.
History[]
Ray was in the hospital with an abdominal aortic aneurysm. He was anxious about having surgery for it because his dead grandfather had once appeared to him as a child and said they'd be together for Ray's 30th birthday. Ray made several changes to his lifestyle to promote his health, such as giving up meat, never smoking or drinking, and taking public transportation instead of driving. Despite this, his diagnosis came when he was 29. He tried to leave the hospital, saying he lived a calm lifestyle and would be careful not to rupture it, but Lucas Adams talked to him and explained the procedure to him, even drawing pictures to illustrate how they'd fix it, and Ray agreed to have the surgery. Unfortunately, during a pre-op CT scan, the aneurysm ruptured. Despite their best efforts, Ray died.
