Renee is the mother of Kelli and Niki.
History[]
Renee labored and gave birth. The baby had been conceived because her older twin girls, Kelli and Niki, had cancer and they needed to cord blood to treat them. After he was born, Renee declined to hold Trevor, more concerned about getting the cord blood.
Niki and Kelli had been admitted to the hospital in preparation for the transfusion. Addison looked at the cord blood. The sample was good, but there weren't enough cells for both girls. Renee said she couldn't choose between them, but they didn't have time to have another baby. Jerry said he could decide, that he could pick one of his girls to save. He felt guilty for knowing he could do it. He then chose Kelli and said to give her the cord blood. However, Renee stopped him, saying not to do it and told Jerry he was going to hell for making the choice.
Niki went into sepsis and Cooper believed she'd relapsed. She told Cooper she didn't want to die. Cooper believed he could get her into remission, but she'd need the cord blood. Jerry said no, to give the blood to Kelli. Cooper said he couldn't without both parents' permission, so Jerry said he'd get a court order because he didn't want Kelli to die because Renee couldn't make the choice. Renee maintained that she couldn't choose one child over another, but Addison pointed out that she was already doing that by refusing to look at Trevor. She admitted she was worried he'd replace them.
After talking with Renee and Jerry, Cooper told Niki and Kelli that Niki was too sick to get the treatment, so they'd give it to Kelli and Niki wouldn't get better. Kelli said she didn't want it because she and Niki do everything the same. Niki told Kelli she had to get better and gave her her hat, which she said was lucky.
Jerry stayed with Niki while Kelli went to get her transfusion and Renee brought Trevor to her so she could spend some time with her brother.
