Shannon was a woman who was in a car accident during the wind storm.
History[]
On her birthday, Shannon was having brunch with her boyfriend. When she started to suspect he was going to dump her, she left abruptly. While she was driving, she was in a car accident due to the wind storm. Sullivan and Andy arrived to help her. They splinted her broken leg and then got her into the Aid Car. They noticed her leg was swelling and diagnosed compartment syndrome. They had to do a fasciotomy to relieve the pressure in the back of the car. Then they waited for dispatch to say it was safe to go somewhere. The wind started to blow the aid car across the road, leading them to see that it wasn't safe to stay there. They decided to leave, but the aid car was blown over the edge of a cliff. ("Weather the Storm")
Shannon was conscious during the fall. Believing they might die, she asked who would identify her body. If it was her grammy, she wanted to be wearing the necklace that her grammy got her, hoping it would help soften the blow. Andy assured her she wasn't going to die, but Shannon coded. Andy was able to resuscitate her and then left to set a flare so they could be located. Before Andy could get back, Shannon coded again and when Andy got back, she was unable to resuscitate her. Remembering Shannon's wish, Andy put the necklace on her neck. ("Crash and Burn")

She had a necklace which belonged to her grandmother that was extremely important to her. She asked Sullivan to retrieve it after the crash. ("Weather the Storm") When she worried she was going to die, she said she wanted to be wearing the necklace, in case her grandmother had to identify her. When she did die, Andy found the necklace in her bag and put it on her neck. ("Crash and Burn")
