History[]
Virginia was helping tend to Sister Helen, the first nun to show signs of the mysterious illness. Soon after Sam and Naomi arrived, Virginia also started showing signs of the illness. They decided to send Helen out to the hospital, but before they could take her, they noticed that it was spreading quickly and isolated the building. The nuns continued to worsen and the infectious disease specialist came back with a diagnosis of typhoid. They moved all the nuns to the hospital and began treating with antibiotics, though the cause of the outbreak was still a mystery as the incubation period was only two weeks and they'd been sequestered for three weeks. They traced the source to Father Mark, who was a non-symptomatic carrier.
