Title[]
I think we ought to leave Dr. in front of the doctors who's first name haven't been mentioned yet, in the same way that Mr/Mrs/Ms are used for patients whose first names are not revealed either.
It just makes more sense and looks better imo, you wouldn't be referred to as "Swender" if you didn't know their first name, it would be "Dr. Swender", "Ms. Swender" etc. (They would also be refereed to in the show and credited as Mr/Mrs/Ms/Dr/Fr etc)

This is just my opinion but, I felt that if we someone was called President Michaels we would call their page Michaels even if they were credited with the president. Please feel free to change it back though, theres no rule or anything to decide if either one of us are right and just as long as the page can be found easily it doesn't really matter.-2Anthony4 (Page me!)14:19, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
That's probably where we'll differ then, but I'd stand by having "President Michaels" until the first name was mentioned.
My reasoning for it is: 1) she's credited as Dr. Swender and I have referred to her as Dr. Swender in the wiki where ever she appears. 2) on the off chance another character with the name Swender appears, it'd make things a little less confusing. --Wiggl 14:31, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

Ah! I'm trying to find high-res photos to see what her first name is. I was able to do with that with Dr. Fincher, but my HD keeps getting knocked out whenever her lab coat is on screen.

Department Head[]
Through context, could Swender possibly be a department head? She had a buttload of oncology residents round with her on Izzie's case. She also off-loaded Izzie's case to one of her residents when the cancer was no longer "interesting". GreysMedSurgFan (talk) 12:41, December 18, 2014 (UTC)
I'm not really sure, because I haven't seen the episodes featuring her in a long time. However, we have previously seen that attendings all have residents on their service and they can load of cases to them, so I don't think that on its own is enough proof.
