Biography[]
Diggs is the oldest of three brothers and two sisters.[1] He earned a Bachelor's Degree of Art in musical theatre from Syracause University.[2] His first role on Broadway was as a part of musical Carousel.[source?] Diggs married his Rent co-star Idina Menzel after 7 years of dating. They have a son who was born in 2009. They separated in 2013 and divorced the following year.[3]
